Summary
The Sr Cloud Infrastructure Engineer plays an integral role in defining and assessing the firm’s infrastructure and operations strategy, architecture and practices. This position may be required, based on the overall size and available competencies within the IT organization, to assume responsibility for security functions. This position will be required to effectively translate business objectives and risk management strategies into specific processes enabled by technologies and services.
Location
This position can sit in any of our U.S. offices and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain Azure-based infrastructure supporting global enterprise workloads.
Develop and maintain structured landing zone architecture and scalable cloud governance model.
Design, implement and manage hub-and-spoke network topology with hybrid connectivity and SD-WAN integration.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and ARM templates.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using PowerShell, Python, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Manage Azure networking services including VNets, subnetting, routing, VPN/ExpressRoute, and security boundariesIntegrate on-prem and cloud systems with secure identity and network models.
Implement and enforce cloud security controls including RBAC, MFA, and identity governance.
Collaborate with security teams on threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives.
Utilize tools for cloud posture management, runtime protection, and IaC scanning where applicable.
Support secure DevOps practices and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills
Must have experience on Automation platforms and proven skills in scripting tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
Experience in articulating the business drives and architectural approach/trade-offs during discussion for solutions buy-in and consensus at various levels is required.
Demonstrated experience in managing “upward” among senior leadership.
Experience leading diverse teams. Must have a proven track record of leading large-scale projects, incorporating best practices.
Experience mentoring/training the engineering staff on complex technical issues.
Five plus years' experience in Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS). Strong technical, analytical and project management skills.
Experience leading and participating in large deployment projects and strategic initiatives.
Experience in articulating the business drives and architectural approach/trade-offs during discussions for solution buy-in at various levels and gain consensus.
Demonstrated data-driven mindset and decision-making skills.
Ability and willingness to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment. Ability to adapt to moving targets as requirements change.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed.
Minimum Education
High School or GED
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Minimum Years of Experience
8+ years of experience in IT business/industry which includes advanced experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a focus on cloud networking principles, security, identity, automation & CI/CD. Experience scripting with PowerShell and/or Python and understanding of source control processes.

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Environment
The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firm’s discretion in the future.

The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $112,879 - $179,481 depending on the candidate’s geographic market location.
The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
