$57,600.00-$72,000.00We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed team at Montefiore Medical Center, a recognized leader in patient care and rehabilitation. The Rehabilitation Medicine department is currently seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Exercise Physiologist to provide top-notch care to patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assessment, exercise prescription, and education, as well as coordinating exercise training programs and related research projects. Key accountabilities include developing and supervising cardiac rehabilitation and education programs, providing remote supervision of patients through hospital-approved telemedicine applications, and maintaining a full patient case load.
Additionally, the Clinician/Exercise Physiologist will be required to complete
patient records and statistical data daily, submit monthly statistical composites, and serve as a liaison between the department and referring physicians.
***Work schedule may include variable schedules and site rotations.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science Required Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science Preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required
* Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) certification within one year of hire Required
* American College of Sports Medicine Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-RCEP) certification Preferred
* 1 -2 years of relevant experience Preferred new graduates will be considered
