As Checkout.com grows, we are seeking an experienced and versatile Associate – Revenue, Billing & Collections to join the Revenue and Billing Team within the Finance organization. This role will play a key part in supporting and overseeing operational activities across billing, accounts receivable, collections, dunning, reconciliations, and finance operations controls.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to strengthening our Finance Operations environment, improving reporting quality, enhancing operational controls, and driving automation and AI adoption across finance processes.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and polyvalent finance professional with strong interpersonal, organisational, and analytical skills, capable of operating across multiple finance operational functions in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Perform and oversee Business as Usual (BAU) finance operations across Billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Dunning, and Reconciliations.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for operational finance processes under your scope.
Monitor aged debt and support collection strategies to improve cash recovery and reduce overdue balances.
Manage complex customer account issues, escalations, disputes, and reconciliation investigations.
Analyse and reconcile financial data from multiple systems to identify discrepancies, control gaps, and operational risks.
Support month-end close activities, financial controls, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Create and maintain robust process documentation and operational procedures.
Implement and enhance operational controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate closely with Billing, Revenue, Treasury, Product Control, and other Finance teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, reporting efficiency, operational scalability, and control enhancement.
Leverage AI tools and intelligent automation solutions to improve operational workflows, analysis, reporting, and productivity.
Participate in strategic projects and product development initiatives within the Finance organization.
Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure operational consistency and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Dunning, Reconciliations, or related finance functions.
Strong operational finance knowledge with experience handling complex reconciliations and customer account management.
Proven ability to work across multiple finance operational areas with a hands-on and adaptable approach.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
Strong working knowledge of Excel, data analytics, and ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite.
Experience handling large data volumes and complex financial investigations.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Interest and experience in process automation, operational improvement, and AI-enabled finance solutions.
Experience within Payments, FinTech, or Financial Services is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
