External Communications Manager, Google Cloud Platform Portfolio

Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans for the GCP portfolio, aligning with product launches, platform updates, and strategic initiatives.
- Craft compelling messaging and pitches that translate GCP's technical capabilities—including developer tools and agentic solutions—into impactful business and industry stories.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders across the GCP engineering and product organizations, preparing them for external press engagements and thought leadership.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key tech, developer, and business journalists, as well as key opinion formers to secure high-impact coverage.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Developer Relations, Legal, and Government Affairs teams to ensure cohesive, consistent, and integrated messaging across complex, cross-portfolio initiatives.
