THE ROLE
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with general cleaning and upkeep of the facility.
Sets up and breaks down tables, chairs, risers, staging, barricades, pipe and drape, and other equipment required for meeting rooms, exhibition halls, concerts, conventions, and special events.
Assists with loading and unloading equipment, supplies, and event materials as needed.
Performs room conversions and event changeovers in accordance with event specifications and operational timelines.
Assists with trash removal, recycling, floor maintenance, and general facility appearance before, during, and after events.
Responds to operational requests from staff, clients, promoters, and guests in a professional and timely manner.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas, workspaces, docks, and operational areas throughout the facility.
Operates equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner following departmental procedures and training.
Identifies and reports maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management.
Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the facility and event success.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Possess a strong working knowledge of facility housekeeping standards and practices as well as public assembly facility set-up requirements.
Bilingual in English and Spanish desired.
Skills and Abilities
Must be able to lift to 50lbs. consistently.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Possess strong ability and initiative to maintain a first-class facility.
Ability to prioritize assignments/tasks to maximize efficiency.
Valid Driver’s License is desired.
COMPENSATION
This position offers an hourly wage of $16.64
