Job Description
Highland Hospital is seeking an experienced lab profession to join their team. Hours would be Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.
The Pre-Analytical Operations Supervisor with direction from the manager, assists in the day-to-day supervision of operations in the Pre-Analytical department including the Phlebotomy team and POB Draw Station. Responsible for assisting the Pre-Analytical manager in for in the supervision of teams of Clinical Laboratory Associates performing specimen draw, specimen receipt, accessioning, sample preparation and processing, ensuring all processes adhere to the highest standards of quality and compliance and driving success of the Pre-Analytical lab by managing resources appropriately. Able to assist in troubleshooting issues with patient samples and effectively communicate internally and externally. Assessing workflow processes, ordering tests, and driving continuous improvements. Assisting in completing employee competencies and performance reviews. Accessioning patient samples information into the LIS and scanning requisitions when needed.
Salary Range:
$23.00- $29.59
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
