Job Description
Human Resources Manager
Location: Mebane, NC (On-Site)
Job Purpose
The Human Resources Manager provides day to day HR support, along with the Human Resources Generalist, to Fulfillment Center team members and leaders. Additionally, this individual will provide HR consultative, project-based, and hands-on support across the organization as requested. Partner with leaders on key talent initiatives that drive business results both now and in the future. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.
Responsibilities
Safety & Workers' Compensation
Support Workers’ Compensation Administration across all divisions within the company.
Generate OSHA 300 logs
Performance Management & Employee Relations
Build strong working relationships with operations management and team members ensuring HR visibility in the Fulfillment Center
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line/operations management (coaching, counseling, career development and corrective actions).
Support the performance review and merit process for the location.
Responsible for partnering with leadership to develop a culture of positive employee relations and engagement.
Support the workplace by managing associate relations, investigations, and employee complaints to ensure all concerns are investigated thoroughly, documented properly, and resolved in a timely manner.
Talent Development & Sourcing
Support recruiting and sourcing activities for the location.
Identify training needs for employees/associates and individual managers in the location.
Participate in creating, facilitating, evaluating, and monitoring successful training programs.
Administration, Compliance, & Strategy
Perform administrative work and provide reporting using the organization's HRIS, Dayforce, and time-keeping platforms.
Identify and improve legal requirements related to all aspects of employment and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.
Establish strong working relationships with Fulfillment Center leadership to ensure HR support is aligned with business priorities.
Participate in staff meetings as needed; prepare agendas and notes and attend other meetings and seminars.
Support company rewards and recognition programs and initiatives such as recognition events, luncheons, etc.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) required.
3 plus years of experience in an HR Generalist role or experience in an HR Manager role
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with HRIS, Dayforce, and/or Kronos timekeeping systems is a plus.
HRCI or SHRM certification a plus.
Knowledge of soccer is a plus.
Professional working proficiency in Spanish is preferred to effectively assist our Spanish-speaking team members.
Ability to travel to Corporate Office (Hillsborough, NC) periodically for meetings required.

Physical Demands
Regularly sit, stand, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use hands or fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard and mouse.
Light to moderate lifting required.
Occasionally go up and down step ladders safely while carrying products.
Specific vision abilities include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data, transcribing information, using a laptop and reading.
Ability to speak and hear clearly to participate in meetings, phone calls, and virtual conferences.
