Job Description
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile variances; investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory integrity across ERP/WMS with precise transactions (receipts, moves, issues, adjustments).
- Track and manage lot/serial numbers for traceability and compliance.
- Inspect and verify incoming materials against POs and packing lists; identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Execute timely put-away to designated bins/locations using RF scanners and standardized labeling.
- Coordinate with Quality for incoming inspection holds, nonconformances, and disposition (MRB).
- Build accurate kits per BOM and work orders; stage materials to assembly cells to meet takt time and schedules.
- Manage shortages and substitutions per approved engineering/SCM protocols.
- Return excess/unused materials to stock and maintain clean, organized kit areas.
- Respond rapidly to line calls for material, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor min/max levels, reorder points, and critical components to support production ramp.
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Procurement on schedule changes and expedites.
- Handle ESD-sensitive components using proper controls; maintain ESD-safe work areas.
- Safely store and handle lithium batteries and hazardous materials per UN 38.3, DOT, and internal SOPs.
- Follow 5S, lean practices, and material flow standards; contribute to continuous improvement.
- Keep accurate logs and reports (cycle count results, inventory accuracy KPIs, material shortages).
- Support audits (internal, external) and maintain documentation readiness.
- Identify process gaps and propose improvements to SOPs and system workflows.
- 2–4 years of inventory control experience in manufacturing (electronics, aerospace, or similar preferred).
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS and RF scanning (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Fishbowl, or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail; proven accuracy in counts, transactions, and documentation.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with BOMs, work orders, lot/serial tracking, and kitting.
- Basic understanding of ESD handling and safe storage/transport of lithium batteries.
- Excellent communication; collaborative approach with Production, Planning, and Quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods; comfortable with warehouse equipment.
- Experience in drone/UAS, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ITAR/EAR compliance and traceability requirements.
- Lean/5S certification or experience; prior involvement in cycle count programs and inventory audits.
- Forklift certification and familiarity with material handling equipment.
- Able to operate forklift / to train to drive forklift
- Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
Pay Range: $24 - $32 per hour
