Sports Lecturer
π° Salary: Β£24,000 β Β£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
π Location: Hertford Town Football Club
Please note: we are looking to recruit for this position starting August 2026.
BHPP Academy, in partnership with Hertford Town Football Club, is excited to recruit a Sports Lecturer to join our part-time further education programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and qualified sports educator to make a real impact on the next generation of players and professionals.
We are primarily looking for a teacher to deliver high-quality classroom learning. You will deliver NCFE Level 3 Sport qualifications as part of a structured and supportive college programme aimed at preparing learners for progression into apprenticeships, employment, or higher education.
π About the Role
Full-time hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
Term time only
Delivery of classroom-based NCFE Level 3 Sport qualifications
Support with GCSE Maths & English delivery where required
Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
β What Weβre Looking For
Experience working in a college, training provider, or sports education environment
A degree-level qualification (essential)
Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or willingness to work towards
QTLS and/or PGCE (desirable)
An interest in football coaching (desirable but not essential)
A passion for developing young people and helping them reach their full potential
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
