Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Management, Reliability and Product Operations to deliver products to market.
Use statistical process control and yield studies to validate process capability, establish reasonable specifications and drive process improvements in partnership with Tooling and Manufacturing process engineers.
Set up quality control plans, establish outgoing/incoming quality control processes, align on minimum standards of performance, ensure correlation between sites and track down root cause of measurement discrepancies in internal quality controls.
Be responsible for touch and display technology feasibility through theoretical stimulation and practical engineering methods, and for design and development of technically complex manufacturing processes to enable new product designs and functional requirements.
Provide technical direction to suppliers to establish and validate process capability during New Product Introduction (NPI) phase for consistently delivering quality product in mass production.
