What does the job involve?

Responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment used in energy production processes. This work involves operating, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment such as motors, generators, and switchboards. Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance to ensure that equipment is running safely and efficiently. When issues arise, troubleshoot and diagnose the problem, and coordinate repairs with maintenance to minimize downtime.

You are utilizing your knowledge in a specific area to carry out tasks that have a short-term operational impact/risk. You independently complete assigned work, either with guidance or by following well-defined guidelines and procedures, in order to achieve targets set by others that have an impact on your immediate team. You effectively communicate facts, practices, and policies to individuals within your immediate team and occasionally with external parties. You adhere to established procedures, identify and resolve challenges, seek continuous improvement, embrace change and ambiguity, and demonstrate flexibility to adopt new activities and ways of working.​ You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values. What will my tasks be?

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:

•Responsible for all maintenance tasks within the electro field, ensuring that operational requirements are met in accordance with governing documentation and company procedures. •Contribute to the technical training of apprentices and other employees in the electro team. •Ensure effective collaboration with suppliers and other disciplines to ensure seamless coordination and cooperation. •Coordinate activities and discipline personnel according to the plan and priorities set by the leader, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and effective collaboration within the team. •Ensure task transfer to the operational organization, coordinating the transfer of responsibilities and providing necessary information and documentation. •Perform routine maintenance tasks on electro equipment and -systems to ensure safe and efficient operation •Ensure that maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and in a timely manner. •Report the history of maintenance activities and ensure that all activities are properly documented and completed. •Actively participate in identifying areas for improvement in electro maintenance processes and procedures. •Conduct quality assurance activities and assessing the risk of equipment failures, ensuring that equipment is maintained and operated in a safe and reliable manner. •Troubleshoot issues that may arise, such as equipment malfunctions or faults. This involves using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root cause of the problem and proposing appropriate solutions. •Perform modifications of electro equipment and -systems, including system upgrades, equipment improvements, repairs or implementation of new technologies. •Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all automation operations. This includes following safety procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

• Norsk fagbrev i elektro med minimum 3 års relevant erfaring er å foretrekke.

• God kjennskap til regler, reguleringer, standarder og tekniske krav i det aktuelle faget.

• Generelle IT-kunnskaper og åpen for nye digitale løsninger.

• Høy grad av ansvarsbevissthet og evne til å ta selvstendige beslutninger. 

• Vilje til læring og utvikling, samt å ta initiativ til forbedring.

• God kunnskap til skandinavisk språk, muntlig og skriftlig.

• Strukturert, fleksibel , samt gode sosiale ferdigheter og samarbeidsevner.

Denne stillingen er en dagtid-stilling på Hammerfest LNG med ordinær arbeidstid 07:30-15:30.
