Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach

Job Title: Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach (11/23/2026-3/2027)

Salary Range: $6,250 +

Reports to: Athletic Director and High School Director (Principal)

Summary: The role of the Varsity Coach is to provide leadership, mentorship, and skill development for student-athletes, while fostering teamwork, discipline, and a competitive spirit both on and off the field

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited college or minimum of 60 college credits
• NJ Substitute Certification (iLearn can assist with application process)
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
• All other iLearn Schools HR Hiring Requirements

Prior to employment, the following must be addressed:

• Required to complete a criminal history background check to prove that the individual has not been convicted of a crime or a disorderly person's offense in accordance with N.J.S.A 18A:6-7.1.
• Provide evidence that health is adequate to fulfill the job functions and responsibilities with reasonable accommodation pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 12101 and in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:32-6.2.
• Pass the state required Mantoux Intradermal Tuberculin Test as required by N.J.A.C. 6A:32-6.3.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
