Who we’re looking for:
Right now, every company on earth is racing to put AI agents to work. The agents can talk. They can reason. But the moment one needs to actually do something inside a real web app, log into a portal, push a refund through, complete a form, the whole thing falls apart. The agent has a brain and a voice and no hands.
Webfuse is the hands.
We are building the layer that lets AI agents take real action inside any web application, no source code, no rebuild, no waiting on a vendor's roadmap. It is one of the most important unsolved problems in agentic AI, and we are already winning enterprise deals against it. We are not a science project. We are Surfly, a profitable company that has run mission-critical web sessions for some of the biggest banks, insurers, and healthcare names on the planet for over a decade. Webfuse is what that decade was building toward.
We are hiring our Founding Account Executive to sell it.
This is the rare founding seat that is actually founding. There is no playbook to inherit. You will write it. You will decide which use cases land, which industries move first, how the demo should feel, and what the pitch sounds like when it finally clicks in a buyer's head. You will do this with a direct line to the CRO and CEO, and with serious wind at your back: a partner channel that includes NICE (who named us their Partner of the Year), Cognigy, Genesys, and Amazon Connect, plus 150+ joint customers already in the ecosystem. You will hunt, but you will hunt with a loaded deck.
We want someone who is genuinely, almost annoyingly curious. Someone who sees a new AI tool drop on a Tuesday and has already broken it apart by Wednesday. You do not need to write code. You do need to love understanding how things work, because you cannot sell the hands of AI to a skeptical enterprise architect by reading off a slide. You have to get it.
If you want a comfortable territory and a finished playbook, this is the wrong job. If you want to plant the flag on a new category and have your fingerprints all over how it gets sold, read on.
What you'll actually do
Own Webfuse pipeline end to end, mixing your own outbound hunting with co-sell motions through major CX and AI voice/chat players NICE, Cognigy, 11Labs and the wider contact center ecosystem.
Run discovery and demos that are technically real, not hand-wavy. You'll explain how Webfuse executes inside live web apps and where it slots into an AI contact center stack
Get into the room with the people who matter: business buyers, IT, and the solutions architects who will pressure-test you
Turn partner relationships into closed revenue, not just friendly intros
Juggle multiple enterprise deals at once and move each one forward with intent
Pull in sales engineering, ops, legal, finance, and CS to close clean and hand over right
Take everything you learn in the field and feed it straight back into the product story, the ICP, and the demo. In a founding role, what you hear on calls shapes what we build
