AI Solutions Manager
About the Team
Our Technology team drives the evolution of our Technology, Engineering, Data, Product and User Experience functions. With a keen focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions, we shape the digital landscape for our customers, readers and users. From revolutionizing visuals to optimizing tools and harnessing the power of data, mobile, video and social platforms, our team is committed to providing a seamless and immersive experience across all touchpoints. Collaborating closely with our newsrooms and strategic partners, we spearhead the development of groundbreaking products and technologies.
About the Role
We are establishing a new AI Enablement capability to accelerate how AI is adopted and applied across Dow Jones. This role is critical to unlocking the value of AI across the organisation - rather than centralising delivery, it enables teams to move faster themselves.
The AI Solutions Manager will partner directly with teams across Dow Jones to understand their needs, identify high-impact AI use cases, and rapidly translate these into working solutions - ranging from simple automations to more complex agent-based workflows.
This role is responsible for building capability across the organisation: coaching teams to develop their own AI solutions, embedding best practices, and fostering a culture of experimentation, learning, and reuse.
This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role combining problem-solving, solution design, and enablement.
The AI Solutions Manager will report into the VP, Strategy Operations within Technology Operations.
You Will
Identify AI Opportunities: Partner with teams to understand business challenges and uncover high-value opportunities for AI-driven productivity and automation.
Design & Deliver AI Solutions: Rapidly prototype, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions, including agents and multi-agent workflows, aligned with enterprise governance and security standards.
Enable Self-Service Adoption: Coach and support employees to build and scale their own AI solutions wherever possible, reducing dependency on central teams.
Drive AI Capability Building: Develop and deliver training, playbooks, and practical guidance to increase AI literacy and accelerate adoption across the organization.
Scale Best Practices & Community: Capture successful use cases, promote reusable patterns, and foster a community of practice that encourages knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Optimize AI Impact: Monitor adoption, outcomes, and user feedback, while staying current on emerging AI capabilities and feeding insights back into platform, tooling, and enablement strategies.
You Have
Relevant Experience: 7+ years' experience in Product Management, Solutions/ Implementation, Strategy & Technology Consulting, Operations, or a related role focused on driving business outcomes through technology.
Problem Solving & Solution Design: Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, can translate ambiguous business challenges into practical, scalable solutions.
AI & Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience with AI tools, automation platforms, agent-based systems, LLMs, or AI-assisted workflows, with a demonstrated ability to prototype and iterate quickly.
Stakeholder Management & Communication: Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
Enablement & Change Leadership: Passion for coaching and enabling others, with experience delivering training, workshops, playbooks, or capability-building programs that drive adoption and self-sufficiency.
Cross-Functional Enterprise Experience: Experience working in complex, global organizations and collaborating across product, technology, operations, and business teams, with familiarity with enterprise platforms and ways of working.
