Business Development Representative – Valves
Eastern Canada
The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to support the growth of Westlund’s industrial valve and PVF business, with a primary focus on Eastern Canadian Locations. Reporting to the National Valve Sales Manager, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build a long‑term career in industrial sales while developing technical expertise, strengthening relationships, engaging early in project specifications, and supporting valve opportunities from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact and customer visits
- Support sales activities, territory planning, and growth initiatives
- Prospect and assist in developing new customer opportunities
- Develop technical knowledge of industrial valves and PVF products
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
- Travel within territory as required
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in industrial or related sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time management abilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Interest in industrial products, valves, or PVF markets
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 with profit sharing and vehicle allowance
