JOB DESCRIPTION
As Subject Matter Expert, Security, you will be responsible for managing physical security operations, defining security procedures, handling data centre (DC) security incidents, working with security system, participating in construction projects and to drive day-to-day process improvement activities. Duties include ensuring consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures and participate in re-occurring DC audits and reviews.
Your main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Oversight and manage the on-site operational physical security of all data centres including but not limited to access control systems, CCTV systems and process, guard force management, security vendor management, risk assessment & management, security metrics reporting, security audits and incident reporting Implement, manage and continuously enhance the Visitor Management System (VMS) to increase system usability & availability for all data centres, adhering to PDPA / GDPR / equivalent standard
• Drive projects pertaining to standardization, implementation and enhancement of security infrastructure for all data centres
• Partner the Process Architect in implementing security and compliance policies to ensure security requirements are adhered to
• Perform internal security audits and support the Certification Team and the Compliance Team on security matters pertaining for external audits
• Provide Security inputs related to the design and implementation of Security Systems, Procedures and Manpower relation of new built data centres
• Write and implement security processes and procedures.
• Provide reports, presentations and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations
• Travel overseas for work / assignment as and when necessary or requested by your
immediate supervisor / the head of department.
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your
immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
• Degree/Diploma in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Project Management Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to learn and ability to multi-task and work independently
• Fluent in English and Local Language (where applicable)
