Blue Mountain Construction Services in Vacaville, CA, has an Immediate opening for an Experienced Residential HVAC Multifamily Light Commercial Foreman.
About The Position:
The HVAC Light Commercial Foreman will be responsible for the distribution of work, the development of HVAC Light Commercial employees and hands-on experience in all aspects of the installation of HVAC in Light Commercial applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Awareness of general safety conditions for the industry and willing to comply
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC industry as a journeyman with an emphasis on Sheet Metal and Duct Installation experience
- Residential or Light Commercial Construction experience a plus.
- Collaborate with his supervisor to coordinate work orders and completions of jobs and deliveries.
- Handles employee-related duties also include maintaining employee work records, including information on absenteeism and job performance
- Coordinates deliveries to jobs sites
- Fabrication review and layouts
- Scheduling and approval of employee time off and time sheets for payroll purposes
- The supervisor is responsible for running large installation crews and enforcing the department budget.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 4-year minimum experience with HVAC retrofit install/ startup required.
- Must possess a valid California driver’s license; clear DMV report required.
- Able to work on projects with multiple stories and or climb multiple flights of stairs
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written formats, bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Must possess basic math skills, capable of handling money payments.
- Must manage e-mail, phone calls, etc. from cell phone.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and trustworthy.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to interface with other Blue Mountain Inc. employees and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Must possess mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical stamina: HVAC Installer/ technicians may work extended amount of hours walking, standing, and may need to be physically active without getting tired.
Bending & Crawling: HVAC Installer/ technicians may work extended amount of hours kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
Lifting: HVAC Installer/ technicians may need to lift large parts and objects, and should be properly trained to safely do so. They should also be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Working in extreme conditions: HVAC Installer/ technicians may need to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on the time of year.

The base pay range for this position is: $46.00 - $50.00.
