Clayton is a leading single-family, values-driven home builder dedicated to attainable housing, sustainable practices and creating a world-class experience for customers and team members. The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for accounts payable for an assigned group of Home Centers. The primary functions of this role include processing all invoices and cash receipts; balancing and reconciling supplier statements; research and problem solving for Home Centers and suppliers relating to accounts payable.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and apply business knowledge to carry out tasks (reconciling, processing, and auditing invoices).
- Obtain documents and information needed to complete assigned tasks from HCs and third parties.
- Reconcile data from multiple sources and enter into systems.
- Process invoices in a timely manner and track any status issues.
- Update HCs and third parties clearly and frequently.
- Assist with questions and resolve any processing issues that may arise.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
- As an Accounts Payable Coordinator with Clayton Homes, you will receive an hourly wage ranging from $20.00 - $23.00 depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Complete large volume of work, on time and with accuracy
- Strong Data Entry Skills
- Excellent Attention to Detail and Thoroughness
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous AP experience preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in other compliance driven role is a plus.
- Willingness to submit to a Background Check and pre-employment Drug Screen
- High School diploma or equivalent
