Job Description

Ubiquity is hiring for an IT Procurement and Logistics Manager to handle enterprise-
level procurement-driven projects or acts as resource for procurement-driven projects

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review current processes for procurement and make recommendations where appropriate.
  • Implement change and develop new processes to better procure goods and services.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for cost saving opportunities
  • Identify purchasing trends within the company
  • Review and monitor vendor performance through regular vendor evaluations
  • Leads solution design for procurement problems / sourcing strategies
  • Perform procurement analytics and report/present them to management
  • Devices ways to analyze procurement data and partner with corporate finance on cost-efficient procurement practices
  • Establish process and work with IT personnel in asset tagging, management and inventory
  • Support and lead global strategies for procurement and logistics of IT assets for all Ubiquity sites
  • Develop ways to effectively supply the company with IT equipment by balancing costs and ensuring equipment are readily available to deploy
  • Coordinate with IT managers in getting requirements for purchasing and develop strategies for movement of equipment
  • Supervise, coach, develop and guide Ubiquity's IT logistics team.
Required Skills:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field
  • At least 2 years; experience of managing a team
  • Technical background is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Familiarity with BPO setup not required but an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and very organized
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
