Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Neurosurgeon to join its well-established program at its Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The incoming provider will join a large and well-supported team of 31 interdisciplinary physicians and 21 advanced practice providers caring for patients in seven locations across Broward and Palm Beach counties.

- Participate in neurosurgical call coverage and inpatient consultative services and collaborate closely with neurology, critical care, oncology, emergency medicine, and rehabilitation teams in a multidisciplinary environment
- Candidates can participate in outcomes-based research, clinical trials, and collaborative neurosurgical research initiatives
- Opportunity to contribute to a growing research portfolio in areas such as neuro-oncology, cerebrovascular disease, neuromodulations, and emerging surgical technologies
- Candidate can engage in scholarly activity including publications, presentations, and national conference participation while also collaborating in multidisciplinary research partnerships across neuroscience, oncology, and rehabilitation services
- The Marcus Neuroscience Institute, located at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in a 57,000-square-foot facility, includes a 20-bed neuroscience intensive care unit and four dedicated operating rooms, including intraoperative MRI and CT technology, as well as a biplane angiography suite
- Academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), BHSF has been teaching residents at FAU since 2018, and most recently launched a 16-resident neurology program at FIU in 2025

Qualifications:
- Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
- Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
- Fellowship training in a neurosurgical subspecialty (spine, vascular, tumor, etc.) is a plus but not required
