Senior Staff Engineer, Java, React

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience: 7.5+ years
• Strong experience in Java and React.js
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and REST APIs
• Exposure to Agile Scrum and JIRA
• Working knowledge of Python; Node.js is a plus
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and coding best practices
• Experience working with Git and collaborative development environments
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement features within sprint timelines
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and team discussions
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code
• Support API development and front-end/backend integrations
• Assist with UAT, defect fixes, and deployments
• Update JIRA tasks and communicate blockers promptly
• Contribute to technical documentation and release notes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery
• Support application maintenance, bug fixing, and performance improvements
• Follow coding standards, quality processes, and development best practices

 

 

 

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fields
