• Job Title: Ancillary Manager
• Location: Dallas, TX

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Landscape Architecture or Horticulture, or at least 5 years related work experience

• As required by state and federal law
• Valid driver license issued by the state where employed
• Commercial Pesticide Applicators License, or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) preferred

• Experience working the commercial property managers a plus
• Effective oral and written communication
• Familiarity with the safe operation of commercial landscape equipment and tools
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format
• Knowledge on reading blueprints required
• Intermediate math, with ability to calculate figures such as area and volume
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English, Bilingual in Spanish perferred.
• Ability to speak effectively before employees and clients
• Intermediate experience using design software, including Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD or ProLandscape
• Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Organizational and time management skills necessary to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

• Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk
• Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and have the ability to adjust focus
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
• Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and seldom lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

• Occasionally works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
• Occasionally exposed to loud noise levels

1. Oversee the scheduling of daily work, assignment of daily tasks to Enhancement production staff and ensure timely completion.
2. Ensure timely and effective communication with Project Managers on all current and future enhancement projects
3. Assist with bid preparation and design
4. Analyze and understand cost reports and budget variances related to contract projects
5. Prepare monthly forecast of labor and materials, and accurate job costing of work orders
6. Meet or exceed budget line items
7. Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, insuring accountability and quality for price
8. Add and update client and project information in CRM software
9. Effectively communicate with management and production teams the tasks necessary to provide a consistent, high quality product for clients
10. Provide accurate administration of paperwork elements, including timecards, job costing, billing and new employee paperwork.
11. Demonstrate strong leadership skills; develop morale and recognize employee achievements; foster opportunities for professional development of employees
12. Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practices
13. Indirect supervision of 4-6 Enhancement Crews, Direct supervision of 1-4 Production Managers
14. Training, planning, assigning and directing work
15. Problem resolution
16. Responsible for creating contemporaneous, prompt, and thorough documentation of all coaching, conversations, counseling, and performance management discussions with employees.
17. Oversee and direct performance management programs, including reviews, progressive discipline and conflict resolution
18. Conduct monthly safety meetings
19. Other duties as assigned
