Reporting to: Director of Sales
Job Overview: Join the esteemed FLEX family as a dynamic and results-driven Payments Advisor. Your primary mission will be to drive growth by delivering our cutting-edge electronic payment services to a diverse range of merchants through consultative, relationship-based sales methodologies. This pivotal role involves identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Direct Sales (Banks & Credit Unions)
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire and grow relationships with banks and credit unions.
- Can we help the bank/cu collect loan payments (ACH, Merchant Processing)?
- Does the bank/cu have business referrals they could send our way?
- Build trusted executive-level partnerships to ensure long-term success.
- Lead prospecting, demonstrations, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities.
Direct Sales (State Lenders, BHPH Auto-Lots)
- Identify, engage, and secure new opportunities with state lending institutions.
- Deliver tailored solutions that align with regulatory and institutional requirements.
- Manage the full sales cycle while ensuring seamless client onboarding.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of pipeline activity.
Industry Presence & Networking
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and professional events to represent the company.
- Build and maintain memberships with associations that align with financial services and payment processing.
- Leverage events and memberships to generate new opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and increase brand visibility.
- Act as a thought leader by participating in panels, roundtables, or speaking opportunities when available.
- Identify valuable ISV and LMS integration opportunities to refer to DOS
Core Sales Leadership
- Achieve and exceed assigned annual and quarterly sales quotas.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring pipeline and forecasting accuracy.
- Provide feedback to leadership on product development and market needs.
- Mentor junior sales staff, modeling best practices in enterprise selling.

PLEASE NOTE - If you reside in a market where FLEX does not have a physical office, this position will be remote with periodic travel to one of our physical office locations, and if you reside in a market where we have a physical office, your position will be hybrid with a 2 to 3 days weekly onsite schedule. The initial training for all FLEX Payments Advisors will be 4 to 5 days onsite at one of our offices.
