Job Description
This individual will manage all human resources functions, handle front-office responsibilities, maintain critical state and contractor licensing, and support daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.Human ResourcesAdminister all HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee filesManage benefits enrollment and changes, and serve as point of contact for employee benefits questionsMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsTrack and manage employee vacation, PTO, sick leave, and time-off requestsAssist with recruiting, interview scheduling, and new-hire paperworkHandle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentialityMaintain and update the employee handbook and HR policiesLicensing & ComplianceMaintain and renew all company state business licensesTrack and renew contractor licenses across all operating jurisdictionsMonitor expiration dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid lapsesMaintain organized records of certifications, insurance, and regulatory documentationOffice AdministrationAnswer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional mannerPerform accurate data entry and maintain digital and physical filing systemsOrder and manage office supplies and equipmentProcess incoming and outgoing mail and shipmentsProvide general administrative support to ownership and field operationsAssist with basic bookkeeping tasks and recordkeeping as needed
3+ years of office and/or HR administrative experience Working knowledge of HR practices and employment law fundamentals Experience with state/contractor licensing strongly preferred (construction or trades industry a plus) Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and OneDrive Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information Strong attention to detail and accuracyPreferred QualificationsHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP)Familiarity with the telecommunications, tower, or construction industry
