This is a permanent full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).
Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do
• Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insights that guide decision-making and strengthen overall business performance
• Prepare and deliver monthly performance reporting, translating financial results into clear, actionable insights and business narratives
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring assumptions are robust, realistic, and aligned to strategic priorities
• Analyse variances between actuals and forecasts, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommending corrective actions
• Support business case development, including financial modelling, scenario analysis, and challenging key assumptions
• Build strong, trusted relationships across finance and the wider business to influence decisions and drive accountability
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and simplify financial operations
Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring
• Qualified Charted Accountant or equivalent
• Solid experience in finance or management accounting, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
• Business partnering experience, preferably in the financial services industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear, practical insights
• Ability to influence outcomes with Managers at all levels
• Confidence to challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders at different levels of the business
• Strong communication skills, able to make financial information accessible and engaging
