What Does a Senior Retail Banker Do?
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and deepen customer relationships through consultative conversations
- Recommend solutions across the Bank’s product and service offerings
- Execute retail banking transactions accurately and in accordance with policy
- Support branch operations and step into operational coverage when the Branch Manager is away
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all applicable procedures and regulations
A Typical Workday
Your day is spent onsite in Rogers, AR during normal business hours, balancing customer conversations with the steady rhythm of branch activity. You’ll greet familiar faces, learn what has changed in a customer’s goals, and document next steps with care. Between appointments, you’ll coordinate with colleagues to keep workflows moving smoothly and ensure details are handled accurately. When the Branch Manager is out, you’ll provide operational continuity—keeping the branch organized, responsive, and aligned with established standards through the close of business.
What Are The Requirements?
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – candidates must have these to be considered for this role:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 5 or more years of customer service.
- 3 or more years of retail banking experience.
- Ability to perform the essential physical and mental demands listed.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to bank locations if necessary
