Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Safety Advisor to support large-scale, mission-critical data center developments in Campinas, Brazil.

This role will support environmental, health, and safety compliance activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to local legislation, project requirements, industry best practices, and established safety standards. The position requires close collaboration with project teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture and maintain a safe working environment in a fast-paced, high-impact construction setting.




Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine onsite inspections of accessible areas, including observations, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and control methods for High-Risk Activities (HRAs) (e.g., lifting plans, permits, task planning).
  • Perform interviews and engagement with project stakeholders, including general contractors and subcontractors, to verify EHS implementation and expectations.
  • • Review and maintain EHS documentation and evidence, including training records, competency verification, and site EHS plans.
  • Track and report EHS performance, including KPI monitoring, findings, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support incident and near-miss reporting and investigations, ensuring action tracking and documentation.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness planning and readiness verification.
  • Complete assigned inspections, observations, assessments, audits, and other EHS-related activities.
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, safety walks, and awareness activities.
  • Provide training and onboarding support when requested.
  • Monitor the implementation of project-specific Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Plans and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP).
  • Actively identify opportunities, risks, hazards, and EHS requirements applicable to project facilities, processes, and personnel.
  • Support compliance with applicable legislation, project requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams and contractors to promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in EHS performance.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience 
  • Data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial construction experience is highly preferred and considered one of the most important qualifications for this role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, EHS standards, hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Experience conducting site inspections, audits, safety observations, and compliance reviews on active construction projects.
  • Familiarity with High-Risk Activities (HRAs), permits, lifting operations, working at heights, and other construction safety programs.
  • Ability to manage EHS documentation, reporting, corrective actions, and stakeholder communications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced construction environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management/reporting systems.
  • Professional-level English proficiency (written and verbal).
