
HCM Functional Consultant
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant specializing in Core and Absence modules to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the enhancement and ongoing operation of our Oracle HCM Cloud platform.
This role will focus on functional configuration, business process alignment, and production support of Core HR and Absence modules, as well as payroll reports and integrations to meet the needs of the business and drive operational excellence.
- Functional Configuration and Support
- Configure and maintain Oracle HCM Cloud modules with a focus on Core HR and Absence
- Support system enhancements, issue resolution, and stabilization efforts across regions
- Participate in design discussions and translate business requirements into system configurations
- Develop and modify functional specifications for payroll and HR integrations and reports
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and improve processes
Work with technical teams on integrations, reports, and extension requirements
Contribute to design reviews and global template alignment
Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
Troubleshoot functional issues and support root cause analysis
Work closely with the technical team and vendors to ensure smooth system performance and data integrity.
Identify opportunities to improve system usability, automation, and efficiency
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Develop and maintain system documentation, configurations, and process flows
Support end-user training and knowledge transfer activities
Upgrades & Enhancements
Support quarterly Oracle Cloud updates by assessing impacts and assisting with testing and validation
Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the Oracle Global HCM system, driving efficiency, scalability, and usability for the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
- 6+ years’ experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing Oracle HCM Fusion.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud implementation and on-going support of Core HR and Absence Modules
Strong understanding of HR and time tracking business processes
Exposure to integrations, data structures, and reporting tools within Oracle HCM
Ability to work in a global or multi-region environment
