AHMG Pediatric Allergy and Rheumatology at Orlando
3000 N. Orange Ave., Suite D, Orlando, FL 32804
Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2:30pm
- Serves as liaison between staff and other areas within the facility and act as an advisor to other disciplines.
- Assesses needs for personnel, supplies, equipment, and physical facilities for budget planning.
- Participates in clinical conferences, workshops, seminars, and related forums.
- Responds to and refers patient-related phone calls within a two-hour period, and call in prescriptions as ordered by the physician within 30 minutes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Supervises and participates in the provision of general nursing care activities.
- Maintains records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates assigned tasks and objectives for different areas.
- Selects and assigns staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion.
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
- Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
- Identifies staff development and training needs and ensure that training is obtained.
- Conducts assessments of patient needs and initiate nursing care plans.
• Excellent computer skills. [Required]
• Must be willing to float to other practices, within reason, when patient load, vacation schedules etc. make it necessary. [Required]
• Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required]
Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:

Work Experience:
• 2+ professional nursing experience, physician office [Preferred]

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
