Shift: Monday – Friday
 

Job Summary:
Are you an organized and compassionate professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the behavioral health field? Join our team at Preferred Family Healthcare as a TAY Adult Administrative Support Specialist, supporting our Transition-Age Youth (TAY) Adult Team.

This key team member coordinates and monitors non-clinical operations for the multidisciplinary team, ensures timely and accurate client intake, and provides vital receptionist and triage services to support communication between clients, families, and clinicians. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for client-centered care and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for clients and team operations

  • Act as a key communication hub between the team and clients/families, including triaging calls

  • Participate in daily team staffing and coordinate client intake and referrals

  • Maintain and organize client charts and ensure documentation meets organizational standards

  • Prepare statistical and tracking reports; maintain data logs for admissions/discharges

  • Manage office inventory, vehicle logs, and equipment maintenance

  • Coordinate landline and cellular communications accounts

  • De-escalate symptomatic client behavior and support clients in crisis situations

  • Provide general administrative support and serve as the public-facing representative of the team

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with professionalism
     

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Education or experience in human services, office management, or a related field

  • Demonstrated ability to manage administrative duties in a healthcare or social services setting

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations and effectively manage multiple priorities

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to client service and team collaboration

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
