The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization, The nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement , the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost effective care.
Position Summary:
The nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation
Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.
Current Ohio license or interim permit. *Experience in relevant care setting preferred. This is an IRP position and, as such, the nurse is expected to work at multiple locations. The IRP nurse is also expected to work one weekend (Saturday & Sunday) per month at the weekend infusion clinic.
Additional Information:
IRP nurse will float between infusion clinics based on operational need. Our infusion clinics are located at: Outpatient Care Dublin, Outpatient Care New Albany, Outpatient Infusion Hilliard, Outpatient Care East, Martha Morehouse, and East Hospital (Saturday & Sunday only). IRP nurse is required to work a minimum of 1-2 shifts per week plus 2-3 weekend shifts per month at the East Hospital and/or Dublin weekend infusion clinics.
