Pre-Kindergarten Teacher - Maternity Leave

St. Gerard Majella School, a PreK�8 Catholic school located in Paterson, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Pre-Kindergarten Teacher for a maternity leave in September 2026. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (required)
• NJ Teacher Certification or eligibility
• Understanding of early childhood development and best practices
• Ability to integrate faith and values into the classroom environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that foster curiosity and foundational skills
• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom rooted in Catholic values
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student success
• Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment

Salary Range:  $40,000 - $50,000
