Role Overview
We are looking for a KOL Specialist (Freelance Contractor) to support our influencer marketing and creator engagement efforts for the Malaysia market. This role will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to identify, manage, and activate Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for campaigns, brand initiatives, and digital promotions.
Key Responsibilities
1. KOL & Influencer Management
Identify and onboard relevant KOLs/influencers aligned with the Malaysia market and brand positioning.
Build and maintain relationships with influencers across different categories (lifestyle, fintech, lifestyle, etc.).
Manage end-to-end influencer collaboration process including briefing, negotiation, and coordination.
2. Campaign Execution
Work closely with the marketing team to execute KOL-driven campaigns for product launches, promotions, and brand awareness.
Ensure influencers deliver content according to campaign guidelines and timelines.
Monitor campaign performance and ensure deliverables are met.
3. Content & Brief Coordination
Translate marketing objectives into clear influencer briefs.
Ensure content produced by KOLs aligns with brand tone, messaging, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate revisions and approvals between internal teams and influencers.
4. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track influencer campaign performance (reach, engagement, conversions where applicable).
Provide post-campaign reports and insights for optimization.
Recommend improvements for future KOL activations.
Requirements
Proven experience in influencer marketing / KOL management.
Strong network of influencers/KOLs in Malaysia is a plus.
Experience managing social media campaigns or digital marketing activations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Days: 3–5 days per week
