Paradigm Healthcare is seeking an experience Paint Crew Poreman
The Paint Crew Foreman leads a traveling three-person, multi-skilled crew responsible for painting and related light finish work across Paradigm Healthcare facilities in Texas. This role coordinates daily work activities, material and tool inventory, and purchasing; ensures quality and consistency; maintains schedule discipline; and supports a survey-ready environment through professional finish standards and timely completion of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a traveling crew of three team members.
- Plan daily work, assign tasks, and ensure efficient completion of painting and related finish repairs.
- Coordinate with the Director of Plant Operations, facility leadership, Director of Support Services, maintenance leadership, and Regional Support regarding access and scheduling.
- Ensure consistent application of approved colors, finish levels, and workmanship standards across facilities.
- Perform and oversee surface preparation, patching, caulking, drywall repair, sanding, priming, and finish painting.
- Support light multi-skill repair work as assigned, including flooring repairs, framing, fixture replacements, outlet replacements, faucet and toilet replacements, and other minor repairs within scope and capability.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
- Track materials, tools, and vehicle usage; report needs and shortages promptly.
- Document work progress with daily photos and status updates as required.
- Support quality control through self-inspection and correction of deficiencies prior to turnover.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and facility-specific rules.
- Assist with pre-survey preparation and rotational facility visits as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in painting, general maintenance, wood and metal stud framing, and rough and finish carpentry.
- Previous experience as a lead, foreman, or crew supervisor preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and finish quality standards.
- Ability to manage priorities, communicate clearly, and keep work on schedule.
- Basic experience with drywall repair, minor maintenance, and light trade work.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities.
- Ability to lift, carry, climb, kneel, and work in active healthcare environments.
- Basic working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Wallpapering experience preferred.

Reporting Relationship
Reports to the Director of Plant Operations.
Work Environment
This is a travel-based position supporting multiple Texas facilities. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work in occupied healthcare settings.
