Overview
Paramount Schools of Excellence, PSOE, is a growing network of top-ranked charter schools with six Indiana campuses and an Online Academy. PSOE is seeking a Social Media Manager who knows how to make posts pop, build meaningful digital communities, and spotlight the amazing things happening across our seven campuses. You’ll work closely with our Community Managers, school leaders, and the Navigation team to turn everyday moments into scroll-stopping content.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Create and manage a social media calendar that aligns with school events, milestones, and big wins.
● Capture content in real time—think event photos, student highlights, staff shoutouts, and more.
● Own our social feeds (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and post with purpose—always staying on-brand and on-trend.
● Engage with our audience—respond to DMs, comments, tags, and questions to build community vibes.
● Team up with principals and staff to collect stories and visuals that show off the heart of our schools.
● Track performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, SocialBee, or your favorite analytics dashboard.
● Share monthly reports with insights, wins, and ideas for leveling up.
● Keep your finger on the pulse of trends and what's working across platforms.
● Experiment with fresh ways to boost reach and real engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor’s degree preferred—or we’d love to see at least 2+ years of hands-on social media experience (especially if it's in education, not-for-profit, or community-driven spaces).
● Knowledge of best SEO practices
● Strong writing skills with a flair for short-form, scroll-worthy content.
● Visual eye: You know what looks good and how to make it happen (bonus if you're comfy with Canva or Adobe tools).
● Pro with platforms like SocialBee, Meta tools, etc.
● Organized, proactive, and detail-obsessed—you’re the kind of person who triple-checks captions before hitting “post.”
● Big heart for education and community stories—you’re here for more than the likes.

The PSOE Social Media Manager usually works in an office environment, but the mission of the organization may sometimes take them to non-standard workplaces. They work a standard workweek but will additionally work evenings, weekends, and any additional hours necessary to accommodate activities such as Board meetings and representing the organization at public events.
