The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.

Role Description:

This is a temporary position. Assist the host nation production control data entry clerk in maintaining aircraft logbooks, track and forecasting schedule maintenance, TBOs, monitor aircraft parts orders and collect fleet production metrics. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports based on production data compiled. 

Key Responsibility:

  • Perform OJT on the job training, assist, and monitor the host nation production control technician to create production reports based on data compiled. 
  • Perform OJT on the job training, assist, and monitor the host nation production control technician to enter data into the MIS maintenance and operation information system. 
  • Perform OJT on the job training, assist, and monitor the host nation production control technician to create and records work orders to the workshops. 
  • Ensure the host nation production control technician comply with Standard Operating Procedures SOP and program policies. 
  • Ensure the host nation production control technician coordinate with Logistic regarding parts and requirement. 
  • Perform OJT on the job training, assist, and monitor the host nation production control technician manage the controlled exchange program and coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control and Logistic on the availability of parts and aircraft. 
  • Ensure the host nation production control technician work closely with Maintenance Lead to assign aircraft maintenance works and work priorities. 
  • Ensure the host nation production control technician track and forecast all Time Between Overhaul TBO aircraft components. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • 2 years of experience in aviation production control programs and minimum of one 1 year of experience working with the U.S. Government aviation program. 
  • 1 year of experience working with fleets of more than five aircraft. 
  • Demonstrated successful judgment and decision-making considering the relative costs, benefits, and drawbacks of potential courses of action to choose the most appropriate recommendation. 
  • Interpersonal skills working effectively as part of a team while communicating information and ideas orally so others will understand. 
  • Active listening skills giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. 
  • Communicating effectively in writing reports. 
  • Possess good communication skills capable of training, adaptable, diversified, and able to solve problems as a team. 
  • Must have experience working with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Supply procedures required to perform job assignment. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word. 
  • Must have experience working with MIS maintenance information system, e.g. AWIS, WinAir, Flightdocs.

Preferred 

  • 5 years of experience working on DoD or DoS aviation programs. 
  • 5 years of experience working with MIS systems like AWIS, WinAir or Flightdocs. 
  • 1 year of professional experience in INL programs, U.S. Embassy environments.
