Job Description
Who You’ll Work With:
The Taiwan Fund Administration team perform varied key operational and regulatory functions, responsible for the fund accounting and fund administrative service of the Taiwan organization. Products cover the full range of the firm’s ever-growing investment capabilities, including Fixed Interest, Equity, as well as Alternative Investments, Blend, Multi-Asset strategies, with an expanding range of derivative content. We oversee the day-to-day Net Asset Value calculation as well as the regulatory and client reporting requirements as required on a product-by-product basis. The candidate should have a proficient knowledge of mutual fund accounting. The job requires knowledge of tax issues, Taiwan regulations, financial reporting and the use of spreadsheets. It also requires excellent analytical skills, communication skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills and experience in Fund Administration management. The knowledge and skills required are acquired through experience in the mutual fund industry. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in standard desktop applications (excel, word, outlook, etc.). There are extensive relations with many functions of the AllianceBernstein business, notably Investment Management, Product Development, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, Internal Audit, Transfer Agency, Corporate Accounting, as well as other departments within Global Operations and Information Technology.
What You’ll Do:
Taiwan Fund Administration team of six
Outsourced Vendor Management and relationships.
CPA qualified oversight and relationships.
Provide leadership to managers and staff.
Process Improvement
Global Fund Administration consulting
Support stakeholders by addressing inquiries related to fund/ETF/DIM account
Have proficiency in Fund Accounting and Administration with strong knowledge in oversight of Fund Administration, ranging from day-to-day NAV calculations, dividend income processing and analysis, tax implications for local Taiwan funds, financial, regulatory and tax reporting requirements, as well as audit coordination.
Promote and implement advanced corporate initiatives relating to day-to-day operations in Taiwan, including fund structuring and launches, mergers and other complex matters relating to local Taiwan funds.
Collaborate with Business Units in Taiwan and Globally on business initiatives. Communicate the strategy and results to the Fund Administration colleagues.
Respond effectively to emergencies and disruptions, implement contingency plans to ensure business continuity
Oversee the Fund Administration process (including but not limited to NAV calculation processing, reconciliation and compliance) and provide guidance to incidents.
Support new and growing ETF business in Taiwan.
Implementing and oversight of procedures and agreed service levels to ensure delivery of services are accurate and timely
Assist with the review of the implemented procedures and agreed service levels to ensure delivery of services in an accurate and timely manner

What We’re Looking For:
Strong experience in fund administration within asset management, including oversight of NAV, reporting, and audit
- Exposure to multi-asset products; ETF experience preferred
- Experience operating in regulated Taiwan market
- Proven ability to lead teams and managers, driving performance and accountability
- Track record delivering process improvement and change.
- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory requirements
- Experience managing audits, regulatory interactions, and issue resolution
- Experience overseeing outsourced providers and vendor governance
- Effective at influencing senior stakeholders across functions and regions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause and outcomes
- High ownership, sound judgment, and ability to operate in complex, fast-paced environments
Qualifications
- Degree qualified (relevant discipline preferred); CPA advantageous
- English required; Mandarin preferred
- SITE license is essential
