Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Learn fundamental knowledge of IC design, including CMOS and analog design principles.
- Gain hands-on experience in mixed-signal IC design and layout under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Develop soft skills and learn about career pathways to become a successful IC designer.
- Participate in a mini-IC project to apply the knowledge learned and experience the end-to-end design flow.
- Contribute to real projects and work closely with the design team to learn from their expertise.
- Last year student or graduated from one of the following majors: Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, Physics, Automation & Control or Computer Science.
- GPA from 3.2/4.0. If you happen to have a GPA lower than 3.2 (but higher than 3.0), we can consider the following cases:
- Have real experience in Analog IC design (please include in the CV).
- Graduated from Gifted high schools with Mathematics, Informatic or Physics major.
- Won prizes in Physics, Mathematics or Informatic at the national, province/city level during your high school.
- Basic knowledge about CMOS, Analog, Digital IC design is a plus.
- Familiarity with IC design EDA tools (Mentor, Cadence, Synopsys) is a plus
- Can use English comfortably in conversations and writing.
- Love solving technical problems, good team player, growth mindset and strive for excellence.
- Highly interested in IC design.
- Respectful, patient and easygoing.
- Solid knowledge of CMOS & Analog design.
- Familiar with IC design EDA tools (Mentor, Cadence, Synopsys).
- Familiar with Customer CMOS design flow: Schematic entry, Spice simulations, Parasitic extraction, EMIR checks, ESD, Design documentations and data validation.
