Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a PROCESS ENGINEER who will be responsible for all aspects of tooling tryout and production support throughout the forging facility.
Job Requirements:
Responsible for tooling tryout and product development.
Build robust forge procedures and work instructions.
Standardize the tryout process for all locations.
Embrace and promote the company’s culture beliefs as a means to achieve the Key Results.
Support other APP, Inc. facilities.
May be required to work in other Engineering functions like Quality, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Works with Engineering Manager/ Production Manager and coordinate tryout and improvement activities.
Interact on the shop floor throughout the company to problem solve and optimize current processes and procedures.
Participate in improvement initiatives to achieve Key Results
Provide reports and updates to various levels of the organization to achieve desired results.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
Skill Requirements:
Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Material Science/Aerospace Engineering.
Experience and understanding of aerospace and commercial manufacturing and specifications.
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment; experience with an ERP system (e.g. IFS).
Fundamental knowledge of GD&T and blue print reading.
Strong project management, organizational, analytical and presentation skills.
Fundamental knowledge of statistical concepts and methods to ensure appropriate application and analysis of data.

Compensation: $25.37 - $36.26 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
