Purpose of the Job
The Fulfillment Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and operational integrity within the warehouse by monitoring, auditing, and supporting inbound and outbound fulfillment activities. This role focuses on inventory control, order verification, and process compliance while also assisting with day‑to‑day warehouse fulfillment tasks as needed to ensure timely and accurate order execution. The Fulfillment Control Specialist serves as a critical quality checkpoint between inventory management and fulfillment operations.
This position will be based in our Blue Ash, OH Warehouse 5 days per week. Work is generally performed during standard business hours, 7am through 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Employee must be flexible and available to work overtime and weekend hours when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
Audit inbound receipts to ensure quantities, product identification, and condition match purchase orders and documentation.
Validate outbound orders for accuracy prior to shipment, ensuring correct items, quantities, and packaging.
Investigate and resolve inventory variances, shortages, overages, and fulfillment errors; document findings and corrective actions.
Support warehouse fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
Ensure adherence to established warehouse procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Identify trends or recurring issues related to inventory or fulfillment accuracy and recommend process improvements.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution environment
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology
Experience tracking and managing KPIs such as productivity, accuracy, and labor utilization
Experience working during peak seasons, overtime periods, or extended shifts
Understanding of picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes
Familiarity with inventory control principles and accuracy standards
Basic math skills
Basic Excel Knowledge
Able to communicate effectively
Able to organize work, plan, and meet schedules and deadlines
Able to perform under pressure and manage stress
Reliable, punctual, and rarely absent
Able to generate new ideas, take corrective action, or make improvements; self-motivated
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience using RF scanners, handheld devices, or label systems
Strong conflict resolution and problem‑solving abilities
Required to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods
Required to occasionally lift/move objects more than 50 lbs.
Required to have the visual, hearing and learning capabilities sufficient to perform all functions defined above

The US base hourly rate for this position is $20.00 to $21.00 hourly. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, education, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives in addition to base salary.
