YOUR ROLE
As an FP&A Analyst, you are the organization's financial compass. Your mission is to translate data into strategic insights to guide decision-making. Reporting to the finance leadership team, you’ll play a key role in budget planning, profitability analysis, and the design of automated tracking tools. More than just a numbers expert, you will act as a strategic business partner. You’ll design high-performance automated models and intuitive dashboards to help managers steer their departments with precision.
YOUR MISSION
- Financial Planning: Working with the FP&A Director, lead the annual budget process and ensure rigorous tracking of cash flow and the weekly rolling forecast.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis: Produce monthly financial reports, analyze variances, and perform deep dives into project profitability (margins).
- Decision Support: Support management in preparing board reports and provide the analysis needed for strategic decisions.
- Tools & Automation: Design and maintain automated Google Sheets models and KPI dashboards for operational tracking across different departments.
- Special Projects & Optimization: Collaborate with the CFO and FP&A Director on various files and proactively propose ways to improve financial performance across the organization.
YOUR PROFILE
- Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA a plus) + 3 to 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Data Master: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel (Power Query, macros) and a talent for making data easy to understand.
- Structured Mindset: Ability to build structured and scalable financial models.
- Agility & Collaboration: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to collaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
- Bilingualism: Fully fluent in both French and English.
