What impact you’ll make:
The COE Quality Manager will demonstrate technical expertise and leadership for a variety of responsibilities. In this role, you will assist the COE in developing a strategic vision for the area, lead the quality engineers, and execute priorities to support the vision through project leadership, mentorship, technical expertise, and tactical execution.

What you'll do
- Driving VSM level business Quality transformation based on Zero defect workbook and QMS standards.
- Own the strategic vision across cells and VSM focused on product & process quality.
- Partner with cell leadership to establish a robust audit plan & ensure strategic & tactical support of key actions.
- Mentor and coach manufacturing and quality engineers on process improvement and quality systems
- Provide leadership & support to meet COPQ reduction targets.
- Drive simplification & reporting solutions to improve response time & issue resolution.
- Lead cross-functional engineering and NPI efforts to improve first pass yield on key programs.
- Lead customer resolution & Drive 8D Problem Solving
- Own quality and technical framework to ensure CTQs and compliance requirements are met.
- Drive a robust training program for manufacturing processes and quality systems to ensure adherence to standard practices and support the development of technical growth within the organization.
- Maintain and improve process documentation & facilitate best practice sharing across the COE.
- Provide advanced quality engineering for new products, processes, and technology.
- Report performance and progress to senior business leadership
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Manufacturing
- Expertise in Quality concepts and tools (Process FMEA , MSA, SPC, etc.)
- Competency in RCA (8D/DMAIC/PSR)
- HGP Quality experience as Lead PQE or PQE

- APQP or Automotive Quality Management Systems Knowledge
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles.

- Proven analytical and organizational ability.
The base pay range for this position is $107,600.00 - 143,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $107,600.00 and $179,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
