Description
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and is expected to travel frequently to job sites across the region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Operations Managers, Field Supervisors, and Technicians across all field functions
- Lead water transfer setup, execution, and demobilization efforts
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
- Monitor budgets, labor, and material costs; report on regional P&L performance
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and account growth
- Collaborate with Sales, HSE, and HR to support recruitment, training, safety, and performance management
- Ensure consistent employee training and operational readiness for all customer job sites
- Evaluate operational efficiencies, deploy automation and instrumentation solutions where possible
- Maintain accurate field documentation, job cost tracking, and invoicing accuracy
- Participate in annual strategic planning and support new market initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of oil and gas industry experience, with a strong background in water transfer or construction
- Knowledge of pumping systems, pipe layouts, filtration technology, and hydraulic system design
- Experience managing large field teams and project operations
- Strong customer service and business development mindset
- Financial oversight of project budgets, labor, and material allocation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- OSHA 40 HAZWOPER and current Safeland certification (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and lead by example in the field
- B.S. in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Experience in managing P&L performance and regional business operations
- Background working with shale gas operators and managing large-scale projects
- Working knowledge of water automation and telemetry systems
- Mechanical or civil engineering knowledge preferred
