Housekeeper, 444 Harrison Ave.

DAYS/HOURS: 40 hours, Sunday –Thursday 2:00 Pm – 10:30 pm 

PAY: $20.00 - $21.20 per hour, DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set)

 LOCATIONS: Within the following Boston MA work sites: Food Service Building; 414 Harrison Ave.; 434 Harrison Ave.; 444 Harrison Ave.; 363 Albany St.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

The Housekeeper will perform daily, weekly, and monthly laundering and cleaning responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

REQUIRED: 

· High school Diploma or GED

· Ability to read and understand printed labels, signage, and instructions

· The ability to understand and speak English

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED: 

· Minimum of six (6) months of institutional or commercial industry cleaning

PREFERRED:

· Knowledge of industry standards as applied to Sanitation and General Procedures

PHYSICAL ABILITIES/SKILLS:

REQUIRED: 

· Ability to perform frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching and walking

· Ability to turn over twenty-five (25) pound mattress for cleaning

· Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds

· Ability to perform frequent and repetitive motions to perform all types of cleaning functions
