About The Mobile Crisis Team: The Mobile Crisis Team is a trained multidisciplinary response team that provides crisis intervention services in a variety of settings including community locations where individuals live, work, attend school, engage in services, or socialize. Mobile Crisis intervention services are designed to interrupt and ameliorate the crisis experience and include: an assessment that is culturally and linguistically competent, the development of crisis diversion plans, safety plans or relapse prevention plans, support during and after a crisis and coordination with, and referrals to, health, social, and other services and supports as needed, including peer/family support services. The goals of the Mobile Crisis Team are diversion of unnecessary hospitalizations and arrests, engagement in services, symptom reduction, and stabilization, restoring individuals to a previous level of functioning, and developing the coping mechanisms to minimize or prevent the crisis in the future. The Mobile Crisis Team strives to build strong relationships and a successful reputation in providing efficient and quality crisis services within a five-county region. We serve Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga and Oswego counties.   Program Supervisor Position Summary: The Mobile Crisis Program Supervisor provides clinical, administrative, and operational oversight of Mobile Crisis services within Onondaga County. The Supervisor exercises supervisory authority over assigned staff, supports service delivery and program operations, ensures compliance with regulatory, contractual, and agency requirements, and promotes the delivery of high-quality, person-centered, trauma-informed crisis services through staff development, community collaboration, and continuous quality improvement.   Program Supervisor Job Responsibilities: Provide leadership, supervision, and professional development to assigned Mobile Crisis staff, including supervisory authority related to employee selection, evaluation, coaching, and corrective action.  Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered, trauma-informed Mobile Crisis services through oversight of clinical, operational, and administrative functions.  Monitor and support compliance with agency policies, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, accreditation standards, and program expectations.  Promote effective collaboration and communication among staff, internal departments, and community partners involved in crisis service delivery.  Support the ongoing evaluation, improvement, and effectiveness of Mobile Crisis services within Onondaga County.  Provide leadership consultation and decision support regarding high-risk clinical, operational, and safety concerns.  Participate in the Mobile Crisis administrative on-call rotation, providing administrative support and consultation to ensure continuity of program operations outside of regular business hours.  Maintain required licensure, certifications, training, and professional standards necessary to perform the duties of the position.  Work Environment:  This position combines remote leadership responsibilities, operational oversight, and community engagement activities.  Pace and Atmosphere  Fast-paced and dynamic work environment involving coordination of staff supervision, operational oversight, quality improvement activities, and stakeholder engagement.  Mobile Crisis services in Onondaga County operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and are staffed across multiple shifts. While this position primarily works during standard business hours, occasional schedule flexibility is required to support planned program activities and staff working non-traditional schedules.  Worksite Conditions  This position is primarily remote and requires the ability to work effectively in both virtual and in-person settings.  Regular travel throughout Onondaga County is required to attend meetings, training, agency functions, community events, outreach activities, and partnership engagements.  Work is performed in a variety of settings, including agency offices, community locations, partner organizations, and virtual meeting platforms.  Frequent interaction with behavioral health providers, hospitals, schools, law enforcement agencies, emergency medical services, county representatives, and other crisis system stakeholders is required.  Requires extended periods of sitting, computer use, driving, and participation in meetings, presentations, and community events.    Qualifications:  Licensed in New York State as one of the following:  LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Licensed Behavioral Analyst, Physician, including Psychiatrist and Addictionologist/Addiction Specialist, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Occupational Therapist who meets the qualifications set forth in 42 C.F.R. 440.110(b)(2).  Five (5) years of post-graduate behavioral health experience, including experience in crisis intervention, care coordination, or community-based behavioral health services.  Two (2) years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience.  Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.    Required Skills and Abilities:  Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide, coach, and support staff performance and development.  Demonstrated ability to provide culturally responsive and equitable supervision, services, and decision-making that respects and effectively responds to the diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences of staff, clients, and community partners.  Ability to provide clinical and operational consultation in complex or high-risk situations.  Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance clinical, operational, and organizational priorities in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written expression, and the ability to facilitate effective team and stakeholder discussions.  Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and external partners.  Ability to analyze program data, identify trends, and support quality improvement and operational decision-making.  Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both remote and in-person environments.  High level of professionalism, accountability, and adaptability in dynamic and evolving service environments.  Proficiency with standard business and clinical technology platforms, including Microsoft Office 365 and electronic health record systems such as Netsmart myEvolv.  Pay Rate: $67,000 annually Liberty Resources is committed to creating a diverse inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
