Key Role
- Lead preparation, coordination and review of complex engineering drawings across project phases (concept, basic and detailed design)
- Produce and approve detailed layouts, general arrangements, sections, details and schedules in line with engineering requirements
- Act as technical authority for drafting standards, procedures and quality control within the discipline
- Coordinate drawing inputs across disciplines to ensure integrated and clash‑free designs
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, constructability, compliance with standards and alignment with design intent
- Develop and maintain CAD/BIM standards, templates and workflows in accordance with company and project requirements
- Provide expert support during construction and commissioning, including resolution of drawing queries, red‑line incorporation and as‑built documentation
- Interface with engineers, project managers, clients and contractors to clarify design requirements and resolve technical issues
- Mentor and support intermediate and senior draughtsmen, providing guidance on complex detailing and best practice
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, client specifications and internal quality management systems

- Relevant Diploma or Qualification in Engineering Draughting / Design
- 15+ years’ experience in engineering drafting within energy, infrastructure, industrial or related sectors
- Advanced proficiency in relevant CAD/BIM software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Plant 3D or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience leading drafting deliverables on large, complex projects
