POSITION SUMMARY
As the Medical Laboratory Scientist III, you perform routine and complex analytical procedures, recognize deviations and provide interpretation.
You serve as a resource with advanced technical knowledge and skills.

REQUIREMENTS
- Doctoral, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution or transcripts showing 60 semester hours from an accredited institution indicating 24 semester hours of medical technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses that include 6 semester hours in chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology, or medical technology in any combination OR meet an alternate qualification route for Testing Personnel for High Complexity Testing as detailed in §493.1489.
- 2 years of clinical experience.
- American Society of Pathology (ASCP) MLS or Categorical.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- 4 years of clinical experience in specialty area to qualify as a Technical Supervisor as detailed in §493.1449.
