PHYSICAL PLANT MANAGER

The Department of Economic Security, Division of Business Services, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Physical Plant Manager. This position will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall maintenance operation of DES state-owned buildings statewide, in accordance with DES and Office of Facilities Management policies and procedures, current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that DES-owned buildings are maintained safely and comfortably. The position oversees the work of vendors, ensuring DES quality standards and adhering to project timetables with the use of a computerized maintenance management system. Additionally, it will provide guidance and direction to subordinate Physical Plant Supervisors. As the Deputy to the Physical Plant Operations Administrator, acts on the Physical Plant Operations Administrator's behalf during their absence. The candidate must pass a post-offer physical exam.

This position is 100% in an on-site setting.
