As a Quality Assurance Engineer based in our Colombo office, you’ll join a global leader in insurance, risk management, and consulting services. Our team thrives on collaboration, adaptability, and a shared vision of shaping the future. This role offers a hybrid working model, with 2–3 days in the office and the flexibility to work from home. How you'll make an impact In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems. You’ll work closely with developers, stakeholders, and business users to identify gaps, design test cases, and execute both manual and automated testing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Analysing requirements to identify test scenarios and data. Designing and executing functional, regression, and system test cases. Logging and tracking defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless integration. Investigating operational incidents and recommending improvements to processes and solutions. You’ll also contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing frameworks and methodologies, ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of performance and security. About you Here’s what you’ll bring to the role: A solid understanding of manual testing concepts, testing types, and test levels. Experience in system and integration testing across multiple platforms. Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or Cucumber. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, .Net, or JavaScript. Proficiency in using project management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to explain complex issues in simple terms. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (ISTQB certification is a plus). #LI-Hybrid
