Material Handler I - Assembly

The Material Handler follows instructions from the Group Leader and supplies materials to line operators performing repetitive tasks. They use the shop floor system to request materials through the JIT function and notify the Group Leader of any material-related issues, such as shortages or inventory discrepancies at the line location. Additionally, they verify the packing list upon material arrival and assist the Group Leader in processing RTS (Return to Stock) when the schedule is complete or nearing completion. In the absence of the Group Leader, the Material Handler takes the lead and provides guidance to workers.
